Princess Taffeta Sillibub DeTaylor
Taffy is a very special pooch. She is the daughter of my parent's English Shepherd, Roxie, from her last litter. Just like her mama, Taffy is amazing with children. She adores all small things--puppies, chicks, and all children. She is beloved by all the children. Our two oldest boys call her "Princess," and struggle to enforce rules with her at all. The other kids call her Taffy or Silly Taffy, or Taffeta. They dress her up, they tuck her into "bed," they slip her treats, they carry her around like a baby. She loves all of it. She is very calm, very friendly, very relaxed and chilled out about everything. She's definitely a companion dog--not a working dog.
We like English Shepherd/poodle crosses because both breeds are incredibly intelligent and people-oriented. English Shepherds bring their Shadow Shepherd love of children to the mix--as well as their above average health. Poodles bring their low allergen, low shedding, and unbelievable cuteness qualities.
We are hoping Taffy's doodle puppies will be perfect companion dogs.
